3.5.1 Inputs
To access the Inputs page select Inputs under Events.
The 16 inputs here correspond to the 16 alarm inputs on the unit; see section 2.1.6.
You can change the Name as desired.
For Mode there are two options:
Digital - when selected the unit looks for open or closed circuit
Analogue – here there are three levels: open circuit, short circuit and mid-point value for use
with end-of-line (EoL) monitored systems.
When the state us set to Close an open circuit will trigger the alarm. And vice versa: when the state
is set to Open a closed circuit will trigger the alarm.
Click Apply to apply changes to the page and then click Save to e1600 option at the top of the page
to save your changes to the unit.
