The Gripper Fingers
The Autosampler CEs gripper fingers (see
Figure 1.7) open and close to firmly grasp each
sample pan while not disturbing the material in
the pan. They are made of conductive stainless
steel and are controlled by tactile-feedback
sensors that detect improperly gripped or
dropped objects.
