9.1 Computer Interface
9.1.1 Hardware Specifications
The instrument is controlled by the computer and the communication between
the computer and the instrument is done through an RS-232-C interface.
These interface specifications maybe either to the CCITT interface standard or
to the EIA RS-232-C interface standard.
In case of a communication error, the data transmission must be repeated !
9.1.2 Pin Designation
The illustration below shows the pin assignment of the DB 9 connector fitted to
the instrument.

All connected devices must be approved and listed as per EN 60950, UL 1950
or CSA C22.2 No. 950 for Data Processing Devices
