3.1.6 ANGLE SENSOR
This is a potentiometer installed on the axis of the magnetic brake.
Is supplies the Low Kit with the position of the brake: from 0 to 10.
It supplies the Low Kit with the angular position of the brake. However, it is not possible to meas-
ure the correctness of this signal with a tester to check if the board functions. If correctly cong-
ured, the Low Kit knows the relative resistance based on the angular position of the brake, and
by combining this information with the horizontal speed, the power developed by the customer is
calculated.
Functions with a power supply equal to 3 Vdc received from the Low Kit.
Each time the angle sensor is replaced or the components that make up the braking system are
replaced mechanically, the brake must be calibrated.
3.1.7 BATTERY (CONSOLE VERSION)
The baery replaces the external power supply, supplying power to the dierent electronic com-
ponents of the equipment. The baery charger is the same power supply used for the Connect
equipment. It is a power supply that supplies 5 Vdc and 2.0 A max.
The baery is connected to the Low Kit and through it, supplies power to the various equipment
components: display, angle sensor and RPM sensor.
It is necessary to recharge the baery every 60 - 90 days based on equipment use.
The baery lasts 90 days with 4 hours of equipment operation per day.
When the equipment is delivered, the baery charge level is between 40% and 60%. Before starting
the equipment, completely charge the baery using the specic power supply.
