8.2.2 Reset to factory settings
If you cannot locate a fault of the device or forget the login password of the web UI, you can reset
the device to restore its factory settings and then configure it again.
When the factory settings are restored, the configuration of the device is cleared.
To prevent device damages, do not power off the device during resetting.
When the factory settings are restored, the login IP address is 192.168.0.254, and both login user
name and password are admin.
Configuration procedure
Step 1 Choose Tools > Maintenance.
Step 2 Click Reset.
Step 3 Click OK on the pop-up window.
