7.9.13.2 Rear axle differential
Checking the axle oil level
• Remove the inspection plug (82/1) check and
top up oil using the filling hole (82/3) if required.
Changing axle oil
• Park the machine on level ground.
• Open the inspection plug (82/1) and the filler
plug (82/3).
• Open the drain plugs on the differential (82/2)
and the brake housing and drain oil.
• Flush out the axle if necessary.
• Carefully close the drain plugs.
• Pour in oil using the filling hole (82/3) until oil
escapes from the inspection hole (82/1).
• Carefully close the filling and inspection plugs.
