(4) Host IP address
Set the IP address of the PC to be connected. Touch the “DNS” button to
specify the PC name. A DNS server must be running in the LAN
environment to enable connection using the DNS.
Touch the input field to display the keyboard.
(5) Port number
A port number can be set.
Input range: 0 – 65535
Default setting: 80
(6) "IP Check" button
Performs a connection test.
(7) DICOM settings
Moves to the DICOM setup screen.
(8) SCU AE name
Title of DICOM Application Entity.
Conforms to the DICOM standard, and is used for the communicating
connection session between AEs to certify each other.
When registered on the server (SCP), unauthorized access is prevented.
Also, this application can be found on the network.
(9) SCPAE name
Set the title of DICOM Application Entity of the server (SCP) compatible with
DICOM.
DICOM communication is generally conducted using a combination of the IP
address, port number and AE title. Be sure to set this name.
Set the AE title after checking the DICOM Conformance Statement.
(10) SCP IP Address
Set the IP address of the server (SCP) configured for DICOM.
(11) Port number
Set the port number used for DICOM communication.
(12) Connection Test button
Sends the message “C-ECHO-RQ” to the server (SCP) configured for
DICOM.
During DICOM communication, C-ECHO service is conducted to check
connection between the server and terminal ends.
