SprayingwiththeSprayWand
WARNING
Thespraywandtrapsliquidsunderhighpressure,
evenwhenengineisoff.High-pressurespray
dischargecouldcauseseriousinjuryordeath.
Keepclearofnozzleanddonotdirectthespray
orstreamfromthewandatpeople,pets,or
non-workareaproperty.
Donotdirectsprayatornearelectrical-power
componentsorsource.
Donotrepairthespraywand,hoses,seals,
nozzle,orotherwandcomponents;always
replacethem.
Donotattachhosesorothercomponentstothe
nozzleattheendofthespraywand.
Donotattempttodisconnectthespraywand
fromtheunitwhilethesprayersystemis
pressurized.
Donotusespraywandiftriggerlockisdamaged
ormissing.
Rotatethespray-wandlocktotheOFFposition
whenjobiscomplete.

themachine(Figure53).

Note:Thewandmayrecoil;ensurethatyouholdit
securely.
3.Adjustthepumppressuretothespraywandperform
thefollowing:
Toincreasethepumppressuretothewand,
rotatethewand-pressurecontrolcounterclockwise
(Figure54).

wand-pressurecontrolclockwiseuntilthevalvefor

spraying;lockthetriggerinplaceifdesired(Figure53).
5.Whennishedspraying,performthefollowing:
A.Unlatchthespray-wandlockt(ifapplicable)and
releasethetrigger(Figure53).
B.Rotatethesprayer-wandpressurecontrol
clockwisetotheOFFposition(Figure54).
C.Putthewandbackintothewandholder(Figure
53).
