1. Rinse tank (for use with the optional rinse kit, 106-4842)
1. Stop the spra yer , set the parking brak e , place
the rang e selector in the Neutral position, and
tur n off the engine . T he tank will drain to left
side of the mac hine .
2. Locate the tank drain v alv e on the left side of
the mac hine ( Figure 27 ). T he v alv e is on the
frame in front of the fuel tank.

Open the v alv e to drain any un used material
from the tank and dispose of it according to
local codes and the material man ufacturer’ s
instr uctions ( Figure 28 ). After draining,
remo v e the lync h pin on the brac k et securing
the drain v alv e to the mac hine and let the v alv e
rest on the g round . T his allo ws any residual
material in the line to drain.

3. W hen the tank has drained completely , install
the v alv e to frame with the lync h pin remo v ed
previously and close the drain v alv e ( Figure 28 ).
4. Fill the tank with at least 50 US g allons (190 L)
of clean fresh w ater and close the co v er .
Note: Y ou can use a cleaning/neutralizing
ag ent in the w ater as needed. On the final
rinse , use only clean, clear w ater .
5. Star t the engine .
6. With the rang e selector in the Neutral position,
press the accelerator pedal to the floor and set
the neutral engine speed loc k switc h to the On
position.
7. Ensure that the agitation control v alv e is in the
On position.
8. Set the pump switc h to the On position and
use the application rate switc h to increase the
pressure to a high setting .
9. Set the master boom switc h and boom control
switc hes to the On positions to begin spra ying .
