2.Cleanthebattery,terminals,andpostswitha
wirebrushandbakingsodasolution.
3.Coatthecableterminalsandbatterypostswith
Grafo112Xskin-overgrease(themanufacturer
PartNo.505-47)orpetroleumjellytoprevent
corrosion.
4.Slowlyrechargethebatteryevery60daysfor24
hourstopreventleadsulfationofthebattery.T o
preventthebatteryfromfreezing,makesureit
isfullycharged.Thespecicgravityofafully
chargedbatteryis1.265to1.299.
5.Eitherstorethebatteryontheshelforonthe
machine.Leavethecablesdisconnectedifit
isstoredonthemachine.Storeitinacool
atmospheretoavoidquickdeteriorationofthe
chargeinthebattery.
