4.15 RTC battery
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
Dispose of used batteries according to the laws and ordinances of your local
authority.
Removing the RTC battery
To remove the RTC battery, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-24.
1. Disconnect the RTC battery harness from the connector CN4632 on the system
board.
2. Remove the RTC battery insulator (RTC battery is in the insulator) from the slot.
3. Remove the RTC battery from the RTC battery insulator.
