OCCUPANT RESTRAINT SYSTEMS
To instal l the baby seat:
Run the lap and shoulder belt through or
around t he baby seat and i nsert the tab
into the buc kle unt il a c lic k i s heard.
Make sur e that the bel t is not t wist ed.
Keep the lap portion of the belt ti ght. Fol-
low the ins truc tions pr ovided by t he
manufact urer of the baby s eat and i nstal l
the baby seat sec urely.
Depending on the type of your c hild re-
straint system, you will need a loc king cl ip
to install a child restraint system properl y.
If your child restraint system does not
provi de a l ock ing c lip, you can purchas e
one at any author ized Toyota dealer or
repair er, or anot her duly qual ifi ed and
equipped prof essi onal. ( See “—Chil d r e-
