Automati c light cut off system
Vehicles wit hout double lock ing system:
When the headlight sw itc h is on, the
headlights and front fog light s automatic al-
ly tur n off wit h the engine tur ned off.
When t he headl ight s witc h i s in the
“AUTO” posit ion, the lights turn off 30
seconds aft er t he engine is tur ned off and
any door is opened and t hen cl osed (all
doors clos ed). However, the lights tur n off
immediatel y if the door l ock button on the
wireles s remote contr ol is pushed within
30 s econds with all the doors already
lock ed.
Vehicles with double loc king system:

tem—To tur n on the li ghts again, s et the
engine swit ch at the “ON” posi tion or turn
the headli ght swi tch on. If y ou are going
to park for over one week , make sure the
headlight s witc h is off.
Vehicles with smar t entr y and star t sys-
tem—To tur n on the li ghts again, s et the
“ENGINE START STOP” swi tch at IGNI-
TION ON mode or turn the headl ight
swit ch on. I f y ou are going to par k f or
over one week, make sur e the headli ght
switch is off.
Light reminder buz zer
Vehicles without s mart entr y and start sy s-
tem—A buzzer will remi nd you t o turn the
light s off when the dr iver’s door is opened
if you remove the key from the engine
swit ch with the headlight s witc h on.
Vehicles with smart entry and start syste-
m—A buzz er wi ll remind you to turn the
light s off when the dr iver’s door is opened
if y ou t urn off the engine with the head-
light s witc h on.
This buzzer will not s ound if the headlight
switch is in the “AUTO” position.
NOTICE
To prevent the batter y from being dis-
charged, do not leave the l ights on
for a long period when the engi ne is
not running.
