If t he wiper lever is in the “AUTO”
position, t he wi pers may oper ate and
the wiper blades may be d amaged.
To squirt washer flui d, pull t he lever
toward you.
The wipers wi ll automati call y operat e even
if t he l ever i n t he OFF positi on in low
speed oper ation while the was her oper-
ates.
After the was her oper ates, t he wipers op-
erate t hree times in low oper ation, pause
for sever al s econds, and then operat e
once more.
The interv al between t he 3 wipes and the
final wipe depends on the vehic le s peed.
The fi nal s weep does not oc cur if the
vehic le speed exceeds 170 km/ h (106
mph).
