AIR CONDITIONI NG SYSTEM
“AUTO” button
For aut omatic operat ion of the air condi-
tioning, push the “ AUTO” button. An indi-
cator light will illuminate to show that the
automatic operati on mode has been se-
lect ed.
In the automat ic operat ion mode, the ai r
condit ioning selec ts the most s uitable fan
speed, air f low, air int ake and on−off of
the air conditi oning acc ording t o the tem-
peratur e. As a result , the followi ng may
occur.
D The system may switch automatically
to r ecir culated mode when the cooles t
temperat ure s etting is selected in s um-
mer.
D Immediat ely after t he swi tch is
press ed, the fan may st op f or a while
until warm or c ool ai r is ready to f low.
D Cool air m ay flow to t he area ar ound
the upper body when the heater is on.
You may us e manual c ontrols if y ou want
to selec t your own setti ngs.
Fan speed sel ector
Push the “” ( incr ease) or “” (dec reas e)
side of the button t o adj ust t he fan speed.
In automatic operati on, you do not hav e
to adjust the fan speed unles s you desir e
another fan speed mode.
“DUAL” button
Push the but ton to c hange the mode of
the temperatur e setti ng.
With the indicator on— Indivi dual temper-
ature set ting
With the indicator off—Simultaneous
temperat ure setti ng
“TEMP” (driver side temperatur e con-
trol) button
To i ncreas e the temper ature, pres s the
“” s ide. To dec reas e it, press the “”
side.
“LO” appear s when you adj ust to maxi-
mum c ooling, and “HI ” appear s when you
adjust t o maximum warmi ng.
With t he “DUAL” but ton indic ator on—Thi s
button c hanges the temper ature on the
driv er side only.
With the “DUAL” button indicator off—This
button c hanges the temper ature on the
driv er s ide and fr ont pas senger s ide s i-
multaneous ly.
This function will be cancel led when t he
“PASS TEMP” but ton is pushed.

temperatur e control) butt on
