IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY
To r emove the s pare tir e, turn the hol d−
down nuts counter cloc kwis e wit h the
wheel nut wrench and remove them.
When st oring t he s pare ti re, put i t in plac e
and sec ure it to prev ent i t from fl ying
forward dur ing a co llision or sudden brak-
ing.
2. Block the wheel diagonal ly opposite
the flat tir e to keep the vehicle from
rolling when it is jacked up.
When block ing the wheel , place a wheel
block in f ront of one of t he f ront wheels
or behind one of the rear wheels.
