l Font: Set the size, font, color, location and format of the image embedded location stamp.
l GPS Power: Determines when the GPS is turned on. The default is Auto Power off with a
timeout of 5 minutes to conserve battery power. You can choose a timeout value of 1, 5,
10, 20, 40 or 60 minutes.
l Effects: Flip/Rotate changes the direction the picture is taken and Sound settings can be muted
for shutter sound and auto focus. (This setting is only available in camera mode.)
l Auto Focus: Choose the Macro setting to change the focus and flash to take close shots;
choose the Infinite setting to change the focus and flash to take long distance shots. (This
setting is only available in camera mode.)
Working with the barcode scanner
WARNING – Avoid direct viewing of the laser beam. Do not stare into the beam or point directly at eyes.
Depending upon the configuration of your unit, it may have an integrated laser 1D barcode scanner.
Tap / Settings / System / System Information / CardPort to see if Barcode Scanner is listed
under the Cardport Devices. Also, barcode scanner units have a clear plastic cover at the top with a
laser warning label.
If you do not have your own barcode scanner software to install, there is a basic application called
ScanAgent.
Tap / ScanAgent. If not on your unit, it may be downloaded from the web site.
Using ScanAgent
(Optional on certain device offerings; may not be installed.)
There are two options for scanning into applications that use text input, such as Microsoft Excel® or
Microsoft Word®:
