13. When the mass loss does not exceed 0.01% of the
sample mass (W
S) for three consecutive one-minute
periods, the burn is complete. The oven displays the
results of the burn as shown below. If five minutes have
elapsed since the chamber temperature has peaked, the
oven also releases the door lock, lights the red BURN
COMPLETE indicator, and sounds the annunciator.
NOTE
The oven will not unlock the chamber door, light the
BURN COMPLETE indicator, or sound the
annunciator until five minutes have passed since the
chamber temperature has peaked. Typically, this five-
minute period will have elapsed before the burn is
complete.
