Transferring contacts
The Bluetooth function on your OpenScape CP700/700X allows you to transfer
contacts in vCard format (file extension: .vcf) from other Bluetooth devices to
your OpenScape CP700/700X and save them in the Conversations list. You can
also send entries from the Conversations list as vCards to other Bluetooth-en-
abled devices.
Receiving a vCard
Prerequisite: The Bluetooth function on your OpenScape CP700/700X is acti-
vated page 125. A vCard file is stored on your Bluetooth-enabled device (PC,
tablet, mobile telephone, etc.). Start the data transfer.
If a vCard is transmitted, you will be prompted to accept the data transfer.
Example:
Press the Softkey to allow the data transfer.
Saving contacts
Press the Softkey again to save the vCard(s) to the contact list. You will receive
confirmation.
Due to the diverse range of PCs, mobile telephones and PDA devices cur-
rently available, we are unable to provide universal instructions on how to
transfer vCard files in this manual.
The instructions for data transfer via Bluetooth provided in the relevant
manufacturer documentation should be observed.
