3.3 System Testing
The S
YSTEM TESTING selection is used for regular system testing of fibers.
When you select the System Testing button in the System Testing
portion of the action area, the S
YSTEM TESTING MENU is displayed.
The SYSTEM TESTING MENU also allows the operator to view or print a
Report. The Status of testing is displayed toward the bottom of the
screen.
Note: Refer to the System Testing chapter for detailed information on
the procedures to be used for an HVI 1000 system.
3.4 Module Testing
The MODULE TESTING selection is used when only one of the modules in
the
HVI 1000
system is to be used for testing. The following modules
are available to use for testing:
♦ Length / Strength
♦ Micronaire
♦ Color / Trash
♦ Nep Count
(optional)
♦ UV
(optional)
