Connecting two cable CTs on both sides of the generator in
series a differential earth fault protection can be used. This
offers a good selectivity in case the cable capacitance between
the two CTs is small.
The other two earth fault current stages use the input I

Using an external injection device like VEO-MSV these stages
can be used for rotor earth fault detection.
