2.2.6. Residual voltage protection (59N)
If the generator is connected to the power system via a unit
transformer, the stator earth-fault protection of the generator
is typically realized with a neutral overvoltage function. The
neutral voltage is measured with a voltage transformer
connected between the generator neutral and earth. The
neutral voltage function comprises two overvoltage stages, both
with separately adjustable definite time operation delays.
