Why does my Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump fail to start?
    • C
      cacostaAug 13, 2025
If the Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump fails to start, several issues could be the cause. First, check if the electrical system fuse is blown or the circuit breaker has tripped; if so, replace the fuse or reset the breaker. Also, verify that the VaporTEK Controller is receiving power by checking if the power circuit breaker is on and confirming the input voltage rating. If the F1 fuse on the VaporTEK Controller is blown, the controller may need replacement.

What to do if Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump won't start?
    • K
      Kimberly HarveyAug 16, 2025
If your Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump won't start, begin by checking the power to the VaporTEK Interface. Ensure the V4 light is illuminated; if not, consult the wire schematic in Figure 12, restore input power, and verify the input voltage rating. Also, inspect the F1 fuse (T250mA) on the VaporTEK Interface and replace it if blown. The fuse should be rated for 250V/250mA.

How to troubleshoot Veeder-Root Test Equipment when pump fails to start?
    • V
      Vanessa HigginsAug 20, 2025
If the Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump is not starting, first check the cable connections between the VaporTEK Pump and VaporTEK Controller to ensure they are correctly wired according to the equipment wiring schematics. If the wiring is incorrect, correct it. If the VaporTEK Pump and Controller were wired incorrectly, consider replacing both. Also, verify the wiring connection of the VaporTEK Interface inputs per the appropriate schematic.

What causes Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump not to start and how to fix it?
    • M
      Melanie ChavezAug 25, 2025
If the Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump is not starting, ensure that the VaporTEK controller or interface is not defective by replacing it. Also, check for a missing or incorrectly connected RJ12 cable between the VaporTEK interface and controller, referring to the equipment wiring schematic to connect it correctly. Also, verify if LEDs V12 and V13 are flashing simultaneously; if not, the RJ12 cable may be defective and should be replaced.

    • S
      Stephanie WilsonAug 27, 2025
If the Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump is not starting, check for a blocked outlet or discharge line and clean it. If the flame arrestors are clogged, replace them. Also, verify the wiring and hook signal input voltage rating to ensure there is a hook signal input. Additionally, inspect the pulse input wiring on the VaporTEK Interface and verify the input LEDs, referring to the VaporTEK Interface LED section.

What if Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump doesn't start?
    • G
      gailmarshallAug 31, 2025
If the Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump is not starting, it might be due to the VaporTEK Interface inputs being configured incorrectly; configure the inputs correctly, referring to the VaporTEK Interface setup. Also, check if the flow rate is below 6 lpm and increase the fuel flow rate beyond this threshold. Finally, ensure that the pot setting is not too low and increase it if necessary.

Why Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump does not start?
    • S
      Susan CarlsonSep 4, 2025
If the Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump is not starting, and a low voltage hook signal is wired directly to the VaporTEK Controller, note that the VaporTEK Controller requires high voltage hook signals (110-220 VAC). Add a VaporTEK Interface or Switch Relays as discussed in “VaporTEK Pump Configuration” on page 17. Also, if the temperature in the hydraulics area of the dispenser is below the VaporTEK pump’s rating, creating too much starting torque friction, install an appropriate heater as defined by the dispenser manufacturer.

What to do if Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump thermal protector trips?
    • K
      Katherine YoungSep 7, 2025
If your Veeder-Root Test Equipment pump thermal protector trips, it could be due to the ambient temperature being above the rated temperature of the product. Verify proper ventilation for the VaporTEK Pump. Wait a couple of minutes before restarting the pump.
