11. Confirm that the UPS is operating in bypass mode. If not, then manually transfer the connected equipment to
bypass as follows:
a. Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds.
b. Select Turn to bypass and press Enter.
12. Turn on the output breakers.
13. Power on the UPS by pressing and holding the Power button on the operation and display panel until the
confirmation dialog appears. Use the Up/Down arrows to select YES, then press Enter.
14. Turn OFF the maintenance bypass breaker and replace the upper connector cover screw.
15. Use the Power button to switch the output to the UPS inverter.
NOTE: The captive screws and maintenance bypass breaker cover is similar for all models. Figure 6.2 below, shows an
example on the 5 kVA model.
