Routine Monthly Inspection
The table 5.1 displays the system components that need to be checked monthly for
symptoms of wear and tear and whether the components function correctly.

Filter
Check the filter for clogging and damage
Clean the filter
Fan
Check if the fan blades are distorted
Check bearings for wear and tear
Compressor
Check for Leakage
Check for noise and vibration
Air-cooled
condenser
Cleaning the Condenser fins
Fan Base is rigid
Check the vibration absorbing cushion for ageing and
damage
Check if the SPD board is working correctly
Adjust the controller speed
Check SPD board once a week during
thunderstorms and similar situations
Check if refrigerant pipes have suitable support
Cooling system
Check if the suction is too hot and check for suction
Check moisture conditions in the system using the
liquid
Check the discharge pressure
Check the electronic expansion Valve
Check for Exhaust Air pressure
Heating system
C heck eroding of components
Check and fix connectors
Check the functioning of electrical heating
Infrared Humidifier
Check water pan drainage for clogging
Check the Humidifier Lamp
Check and fix connectors
Check the water pan for mineral deposits
