Maintenance
Instructions concerning specific components
Cables, lamps and fuses
Always observe the following instructions:
Malfunctioning components of the electrical system must always be replaced by a Wacker
Neuson service center. Lamps and fuses may be replaced by unqualified persons.
When performing maintenance on the electrical system, pay particular attention to
ensuring good contact in leads and fuses.
Blown fuses indicate overloading or short circuits. The electrical system must therefore
be checked before installing a new fuse.
Only use fuses with the specified load capacity (amperage)
see chapter Fuses behind the right-hand trim on page 6-4
Alternator
Observe the following instructions:
Start the engine only if the battery is connected
When connecting the battery, ensure that the poles (+/) are not inverted
Always disconnect the battery before performing welding work or connecting a quick
battery charger!
Have malfunctioning charge indicator lights immediately replaced see chapter
