thefellingheadplacedsecurelyonat,level
ground.Failingtofollowthisprocesscan
increasetheriskofseriousinjuryordeath.
CAUTION:Toreducetheriskofinjuryduring
maintenanceand/orserviceprocedures,ensure
you:lowertheattachmenttotheground;stop
theengine;turnoffanymastershut-offs;and
donotallowpersonnelinthecab.
CAUTION:Toreducetheriskofinjurywhen
workingonorwiththesawchain,ensureyou
wearthecorrectsafetyglovesandremove
thesawchainwhenmakinganyadjustments
orservicingthesawunit.
NOTE:Duringtheunit’srstmonthofoperation,ensure
youtightenallfastenersonceaweek.
Ensureyoustarteachshiftwithasharpsawchainand
endeachshiftwiththefellingheadparkedinthe‘tilt-up’
positionwiththegrappleopen.
Tightenanyloosecomponentsand,wheresignsof
damageand/orexcessivewearareevident,repairor
replacecomponentsasrequired.
