maintenanceand/orserviceprocedures,ensure
you:lowertheattachmenttotheground;stop
theengine;turnoffanymastershut-offs;and
donotallowpersonnelinthecab.
CAUTION:Toreducetheriskofinjurywhen
workingonorwiththesawchain,ensureyou
wearthecorrectsafetyglovesandremove
thesawchainwhenmakinganyadjustments
orservicingthesawunit.
1.Placetheunitsoitrestssecurelyontheground,with
thesawunitfacingup.
2.Removethesawchainfromtheunit.(Refertosteps
1-5fromtheReplacingthesawchainsection.)
3.Usinga36–millimetrewrench,loosenthehex-nut(5)
untilyouareabletopulloutthesawbar.
4.Removethesawbarfromthesawunit.
5.Installanewsawbar;thentightenthehex-nut(5).
6.Re-installthesawchain.
