To tighten a re-installed fitting:
1. Insert the tool between the collet and compression screw and pry the collet until it loosens
from the inside of the fitting.

2. Tighten the fitting finger-tight.
3. Using the collet and compression-screw multi-tool and a 5/16-inch open-end wrench,
tighten the fitting as much as an additional 1/6-turn.
4. If the connection leaks, tighten the fitting an additional 1/8-turn.
