The service engineer who is responsible for setting up the appliance must take into account the nature of the ceiling and any
adjacent systems that may be used (air ventilation system, vapour extractor hood etc.) when designing the particular clear-
ance needed between the top of the appliance and the ceiling.
In this context, the vertical distance H1 must be understood
as a guide value for the minimum vertical clearance.
