6.2 Faults & Troubleshooting
Symptoms Possible Causes Solutions
The machine cannot be switched
on. The main switch Q1 [19]
automatically falls back to “0”.
There is insufficient power
supply at the main
connection X10 [27].
Check the power supply.
The main switch Q1 [19] can be set
to position „I“, the green signal light
ready for use P3 [17], however, does
not light up.
Damaged fine wire fuse F1
(M99-DS/M99-DS-Pro)/
F2 (M99) in the electrical
switchboard [6].
Spare fuses are located on the inside of the
electrical switchboard’s [6] control cabinet door.
Replace faulty fine wire fuses. Before switching the
machine on again, disconnect the receiver or the
extension cable with cable remote control from the
machine control socket X3 [28/30]. Turn the machine
on. If there are new damages with the fine wire
fuse, the power supply must be checked for excess
voltage otherwise the receiver or the extension
cable with cable remote control can be
reconnected into the machine control socket X3.
The site’s fault current circuit
breaker FI is signalling an excessive
residual current and goes into error
mode.
The machine or the
machine’s supply cable is
lying on a damp surface
Check the machine’s position and if necessary,
change the operating site (see chapter 4.1.1).
Fault with the insulation on
the supply cable.
Check the supply cable‘s insulation and if
necessary, replace the supply cable.
The accumulated
operational leakage current
is too high.
Check the surrounding electrical power’s
connected load and if necessary, disconnect the
consumer load from the power.
The measured value whilst pressure
testing, see chapter 6.1.5, falls short
of the limit value.
The gaskets are worn,
damaged or not centrically
assembled.
Check the gaskets and if necessary, replace them
(see chapter 6.1.4) or correct their position.
The sealing rings are worn.
Replace the sealing rings (see chapter 6.1.3) and if
necessary, contact customer service.
The internal hosing is
damaged or faulty.
Check the internal hosing and if necessary, get rid
of any blockages in the hose connections and
tighten the hose clamps.
The rotary airlock and conditioning
unit fault light P4 [18] lights up.
Low ambient temperatures
make it difficult to operate
the machine properly.
Warm up the machine by letting it run empty for
about 10 minutes and if necessary, lubricate the
gaskets in the rotary airlock [8] with silicone.
Foreign objects or pressed
insulation material are
disrupting the rotary
airlock [8] or the conditioning
unit [9].
M99: Pull the net adaptor. Open the electrical
switchboard [6] and press the motor protection
relay’s blue Reset button F1. Close the switchboard
and reconnect the net adaptor.
Check the rotary airlock and the conditioning unit,
and if necessary, clean them.
M99-DS-Pro: Despite material
tailback, no overpressure is
signalled.
The configured threshold is
too high.
Correct the threshold.
The pressure measuring
device’s pressure hose is
blocked.
Check the pressure hose for contamination and if
necessary, blow through the pressure hose (see
chapter 6.1.8).
The airlock feed gate cannot be
positioned.
The airlock feed gate is stiff
or blocked.
Get rid of insulation material between the airlock
feed gate and attachment base (see chapter
6.1.14).
