2 Safety Notes
2.1 General Notes
2.1.1 General
The insulation blowing machine M99 is designed and built based on the latest state of the art technology
with all the recognized safety and security requirements.
We implore you to only use the insulation blowing machine in impeccable technical conditions whereby
general safety and hazard awareness are taken into account. Interferences and defects that may impair the
safety of users and third parties must be rectified immediately.
In order to keep potential risks minimal, preventive measures regarding safety at the workplace must be
strictly adhered to at all times. First-aid facilities and fire protection must be inspected regularly.
2.1.2 In the event of an emergency
In the event of an emergency, turn the main switch Q1 [19] to position “0” and disconnect the mains.
2.2 Intended & Non-Intended Use
2.2.1 Intended Use
The insulation blowing machine M99 is authorised for the processing of officially approved insulation
materials such as cellulose, wood fibre and rock wool, via nominal sized hose lines.
2.2.2 Non-Intended Use
Any other applications exceeding this are considered improper. X-Floc Dämmtechnik-Maschinen GmbH shall
not be liable for any resulting damage to persons and/or objects.
The insulation blowing machine is not explosion-protected and must not be used in potentially explosive
areas.
The use of non-approved spare parts and improper conversion, changes, repairs and maintenance at the
machine are not permitted.
An insulation blowing machine which has faults and/or modifications which compromise the safety features
may not be put into operation. The insulation blowing machine may not be insufficiently repaired,
maintained or wilfully damaged.
2.3 General Safety Notes
2.3.1 Qualified Personnel
The insulation blowing machine may only be operated and serviced by trained and qualified professional.
Operating the machine under the influence of alcohol, drugs and/or medication that impairs the work
performance and reaction speed is strictly prohibited. When in operation, the insulation blowing machine
must not be left unattended.
Trainees or personnel who are yet to undergo general training may only operate the insulation blowing
machine under permanent supervision by qualified personnel.
2.3.2 Operator
The operator is the person who operates the machine for commercial or economic purposes or provides it to
a third party for use or who holds legal product responsibility for the protection of the user, staff and third
parties during operation.
2.3.3 Qualified Electrician
Only qualified electricians or trained personnel under the instructions and supervision of a qualified
electrician are allowed to carry out work on the insulation blowing machine‘s electrical components.
