6. Hold both sides of the installed fuser, and
pull it inward slightly and then upward to
remove.
7. Unpack a new fuser and remove the tag
with the letter E on it from the new fuser.
8. With the connector of the fuser toward the
slot, lower the fuser and then push the
connector into the slot firmly.
Note
• Hold either side of the fuser with both hands.
• Make sure that the fuser is firmly fixed in the slot and
cannot be moved easily.
9. Lock both levers at the ends of the fuser.
10. Close the chute gate.
