USB Settings
Specifies the settings for the USB interface.
Note
• You need to restart the printer to activate the new settings. After making the settings, turn off the printer
and then turn it on again.
System Settings
[System Settings] menu is used to make the printer operation settings such as for alarm and
power saver mode.
Item Description
Adobe Protocol Sets the PostScript communication protocol.
• [TBCP](default)
Select this when the communication protocol are both in ASCII and binary formats
and switches between the two using control codes.
• [Binary]
Select this when no special processing is required for data.
• [Auto]
Automatically detects the PostScript communication protocol.
• [Standard]
Select this when the communication protocol is in ASCII format.
• [BCP]
Select this when the communication protocol is in binary format.
Note
• The DocuPrint C2100 does not support [Adobe Protocol].
• Select an appropriate option according to the data format specified on your printer
driver.
• [Adobe Protocol] is valid only when printing in PostScript.
Item Description
Low Power Timer Specifies the transitional time to the low power mode between 3 and 60 minutes in
increments of 1 minute. After the specified period of time has passed from the last print
job, the printer enters the low power mode.
• [3 Minutes] to [60 Minutes] (default: [3 Minutes])

Sleep Mode Specifies whether to enable the transition to Sleep Mode or not. Select [Disable] to
disable the setting.
• [Sleep Mode] (default: [Enable])
Sleep Mode Timer Specify the transitional time to the Sleep Mode between 2 and 120 minutes in
increments of 1 minute. After the specified period of time has passed after entering the
Low Power Mode, the printer enters the Sleep Mode.
• [2 Minutes] to [120 Minutes] (default: [2 Minutes])
Note
• When [Sleep Mode] is set to [Disable] (default: [Enable]), the printer does not shift to
the Sleep Mode.
