Fault Clearance
Document Jams
If a document jams while it is feeding through the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF),
‘DOCUMENT JAM’ appears in the display.
Details for clearing the three types of document misfeeds are given below.

Ø Open the ADF top cover.

Ø Pull the document gently to the
right and out of the ADF.
Ø Close the ADF top cover.
Ø Feed the documents back into
the ADF.
