the indicator light on the instrument
panel goes out, indicating that the parking
brake is successfully released. When the
vehicle is in the P gear, the parking brake
cannot be released by pressing EPB switch.
Tips
●
When the parking brake is turned on or
o, the system will emit operating noise,
which is normal.
●
After the parking brake is turned on, if
the vehicle cannot be powered on due to
the empty 12V battery, then the parking
brake cannot be released,it can be
released by jumper connection (Refer to
page 257) or contact your local
authorized service center for processing.
Caution
●
If the parking brake cannot be
automatically activated when the
gear is shifted into P after the vehicle
stops, or if the parking brake cannot
be automatically released when the
gear is shifted into R or D, you can try to
manually activate/release the parking
brake. If you cannot manually activate/
release, the local authorized service
center should be contacted immediately
for overhaul.
●
Do not drive the vehicle without
releasing the parking brake, otherwise
the electronic parking brake system will
be easily damaged.
