After a vehicle collision, the seat belt assists
other safety systems to simultaneously absorb
the energy generated by the collision, slow
down the inertia of the driver's forward

forward, and at the same time enable the
driver to get the best protection of the airbag,
minimize the impact damage it receives.

In the event of a severe frontal or side
collision, the pretensioner will operate
simultaneously with the airbag. The
pretensioner automatically tightens the
seat belt webbing to reduce the slack of
the seat belt on the legs and diagonal
parts, thereby reducing the forward tilt
of the driver and passenger.
