Airbags cannot replace seat belts.
Regardless of whether the airbag is
triggered, the seat belt can reduce the
risk of serious injury or death in an
accident. Therefore, the seat belt must
be fastened correctly. Airbags only
provide protection when triggered, and
not all types of accidents will trigger
airbags.
