Refer to “GENERAL” in chapter 3.
SPARK PLUG CAP
1. Inspect:
● Spark plug cap
Loose → Tighten.
Cracks/damage → Replace.
2. Measure:
● Spark plug cap resistance
Out of specification → Replace.
Spark plug cap resistance:
4.0 ~ 6.0 kΩ
Replacement steps:
● To remove the spark plug cap turn it
counterclockwise.
● To install the spark plug cap turn it
clockwise until it is tight.
ENGINE STOP SWITCH (MH, EH, EHT)
1. Check:
● Continuity
No continuity → Replace.
Lead color
White Black
Remove the lock-
plate Å.
Install the lock-
plate ı.
Push the
button Ç.
