CAUTION:
● Make sure the upper oil ring’s end gap is
positioned correctly, then install the pis-
ton.
● Install the piston with the “UP” mark on
the piston crown facing towards the fly-
wheel side.
Oil seal installation
1. Install:
● Oil seal 1 and 2
CAUTION:
Do not install the oil seals after tightening
the crankcase bolts; this can damage the
oil seals.
