NOTICE
Damage to Equipment. The drive can fail if users frequently turn the drive ON and OFF with the MC on the power
source side to Run and Stop the drive. Incorrect operation can decrease the service life of the relay contacts and electrolytic
capacitors. If you frequently use the magnetic contactor on the power source side to Run and Stop the drive, it can cause drive
failure.
■ Input Terminals
Refer to Table 10.1 for a list of input terminals and functions.

Install the wire jumpers between terminals SC-SP and SC-SN to set the MFDI power supply

between terminals SC-SN. If you close the circuits terminals SC-SP
and terminals SC-SN, it will cause damage to the drive.
• Sourcing Mode: Install a jumper between terminals SC and SN.

between terminals SC-SP. If you close the circuits terminals SC-SP
and terminals SC-SN, it will cause damage to the drive.
• External power supply: No jumper necessary between terminals SC-SN and terminals SC-SP.

Remove the jumper between terminals H1-HC and H2-HC to use the Safe Disable input.
• 24 V, 6 mA
• ON: Normal operation
• OFF: Coasting motor
• Internal impedance 4.7 kΩ
• OFF Minimum OFF time of 2 ms.
