4.3.4 Connecting the Cables
Do not connect the encoder, power, and ground cables until after the drive
assembly is securely in place.
Connection to Motoman Controller
When the MH-series drive assembly is delivered with a Motoman robot,
connections between the two usually have been made at the factory, or if not,
instructions for making connections can be found in the system manual. See
separate schematics and/or documentation specific to your system.
Ground Cables – T
ype II
A ground cable bar is provided for attaching weld ground cables (see Figure 4-11).
Route the ground cables from the power source, up through the bottom of the Type
II base, and attach to the ground cable bar.

4.3.5 Home Position
The MH-series positioners are set in HOME position at the factory. See Section 6,
Maintenance, if HOME position must be adjusted.
