Reading a Text Message
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Menu->Message->Text Message->Inbox.
2. Highlight a desired message, and then press View.
On the SIP-T48S/T48G IP phone, tap the desired text message to read.

Sending a Text Message
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Menu->Message->Text Message->New Message.
2. Compose the new text message.
3. On all IP phones except the SIP-T48S/T48G IP phone, press Send.
4. Select the desired account from the From field.
5. Enter the number you want to send the message to in the To field.
6. Press Send to send the message.
On the SIP-T48S/T48G IP phone, you can also tap the Save soft key to save the text message to
the draftbox.
If the phone prompts you there is a new text messages, you can also press the View soft key to
read the new messages directly.
On the SIP-T48S/T48G IP phone, you can tap the icon when the phone is idle to open
the dialog box, and then tap Connect.
