Answering a Call on the Shared Line
When an incoming call arrives on the shared line, the phones of boss and secretary will ring
simultaneously. On the SIP-T48S/T48G IP phone and the icon indicators of the line key 1 on
both boss’s and secretary’s phones will become and flashing. On other IP phones, the LED
indicators of the line key 1 on both boss’s and secretary’s phones will flash green. The incoming
call can be answered either by boss or secretary but not both.
Procedure:
Press the line key 1, press the
Speakerphone key, OK key or
Answer on the phone.
The icon indicator of
the line key 1 becomes
and solid.
The LED indicator of
the line key 1 glows
red.
Answering Multiple Calls on the Shared Line
An incoming call arrives on the shared line when there is an active call on line key 1 of boss
phone. The incoming call can be answered either by boss or secretary but not both. The LCD
screen of boss phone displays the information of the incoming call”).

Make sure call waiting feature is enabled on boss’s phone. For more information, refer to
