Function
Set the Ethernet communication conditions.
For the WT connection client settings (WT communication (/E2 option)), see the WT
Communication (/E2) User’s Manual (IM 04L51B-19EN).
For the SLMP client settings (SLMP communication (/E4 option)), see the SLMP
Communication (/E4) User’s Manual (IM 04L51B-21EN).

IP Address
Set a fixed IP address to assign to the GX/GP.
Subnet mask
Set the subnet mask. Set this in accordance with the system or network that the GX/GP
belongs to.
Defaultgateway
Set the IP address of the default gateway.
Automatic DNS settings

1 Appears when Obtain IP address automatically is set to On.
Obtain DNS address automatically
Set this to On to automatically obtain the DNS server address. Otherwise, set this to Off.
If you set this to Off, you need to set the primary and secondary DNS servers and domain
suffixes.
