User level
Set the user level. System administrators (Admin) are users that can perform all operations
on the GX/GP. When using the login function, at least one user must be registered as a
system administrator. The user level of User number 1 is fixed to Admin.

You can log in to the GX/GP via communication.

You can log in to the GX/GP through touch operation and

1 Communication cannot be specified for user number 1.
User name
Set the user name. Duplicate user names are not allowed.
User names cannot contain spaces.
Initializepassword
Select Initializepassword to initialize a password. To cancel the initialization, select Back.
Authority of user
When the user level is User, set this to On to apply user restrictions.
Authority number
When Authority of user is set to On, set the authority number.
For details on setting user restrictions, see the next section.
Note
The default user name for user number 1 is “User01”.
The default password is “default.”
To change the password, log in and perform Passwordchange.
Even if you want to set only communication to Login, set Touch operation to Login once and set a
password.
