Replacing Printer Components
Some printer components, such as the printhead and platen roller, may wear out over time and
can be replaced easily. Regular cleaning may extend the life of some of these components. See
Table 13 on page 134 for the recommended cleaning intervals.
Ordering Replacement Parts
Contact your authorized Zebra reseller for part ordering information.
The ZT410 RFID printer with the Silverline Solution requires a special printhead that is
designed for this printer. The printhead is not the same as the printhead for standard ZT410
printers. Order kit number P1088805.
The installation instructions are included with the kit, or you may view a video of the
printhead replacement procedure at http://www.zebra.com/silverline.
Recycling Printer Components
Lubrication
No lubrication is needed for this printer.
The majority of this printer’s components are recyclable. The printer’s main logic board may
include a battery that you should dispose of properly.
Do not dispose of any printer components in unsorted municipal waste. Please dispose of the
battery according to your local regulations, and recycle the other printer components
according to your local standards. For more information, see

Caution • Some commercially available lubricants will damage the finish and the
mechanical parts if used on this printer.
