Idle Display, Home Menu, and User Menus
The printer’s control panel includes a display, where you can view the printer’s status or
change its operating parameters. In this section, you will learn how to navigate through the
printer’s menu system and change values for menu items.
Idle Display After the printer completes the power-up sequence, it moves to the Idle Display
(Figure 4). The printer cycles through its IP address and information configured by the user.

Home Menu Use the Home menu (Figure 5) to access the printer’s operating parameters
through the eight user menus (Figure 6 on page 19).
