19. Label phase leads to ensure they are
re-installed in the correct locations upon
reassembly.
20. Remove terminal bolts (x3) securing phase
leads (x3) to the top of the controller. Discard
O-rings (x2). Tool: 22mm 6-point socket.
Torque: 9 lb-ft (12 Nm).
Note: Replace sealing O-rings upon
installation.
21. Cut double-loop cable tie securing the
encoder harness connector to the controller
harness connector.
Note: Replace double loop cable tie upon
installation.
22. Cut cable tie section blocking the removal of
the controller signal harness connector.
23. Release controller signal harness connector
from controller.
24. Remove controller assembly.
25. Remove bolts (x4) and nuts (x4) securing the
controller to the controller carrier. Collect the
plastic controller safety stands (left and right)
and washers (x4). Tools: T30 (bolts) and
10mm wrench (nuts). Torque: 8 lb-ft (11 Nm).
