❹ Preparing the pool
4.1 I Filtraon and lter media
The exclusive magnesium-based treatment system is designed to be opmally ecient with a ltraon system that has
been correctly designed and dimensioned and that uses Zodiac® Crystal Clear glass lter medium (and not sand).
Procedure for lling the lter:
• Pour fresh water into the lter bowl so as to cover the side nozzles and dampen the falling lter medium .
• Use a plasc bag to cover the top nozzle of the lter while lling (to prevent the lter medium from penetrang the
nozzle).
• Then pour the lter medium in the following proporons:
- Approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of the total required weight with Zodiac® Crystal Clear "coarse" glass medium to cover
the side nozzles

- Approximately 2/3 to 3/4 of the total required weight with Zodiac® Crystal Clear "ne" glass medium .
